Loving Vincent

Poland, Netherlands and France

2017 | 18 | 94 mins | Mystery, Art House, Biopic

This film tells the story of Vincent van Gogh’s life over 65,000+ frames of oil-painted animation. A year after Vincent’s death, postman’s son Armand is asked to hand-deliver his final letter to his brother. Armand travels to Auvers-sur-Oise, where he meets people who not only knew the artist, but also inspired his art. He becomes increasingly fascinated by the man and his fate, but Vincent’s troubled life is as much a matter of interpretation as his paintings, and there are no easy answers to be found.
