  • SYNOPSIS

‘The Young Karl Marx’ covers 5 years of Marx’s life, from his exile in Paris in 1843 to the genesis of The Communist Manifesto in 1848. While in exile, Marx meets Friedrich Engels. The two men develop a friendship after Marx finds out Engels is writing an article about the suffering of British labourers. Both are convinced that together, they will change existing social conditions.
